Beginning March 1, 1999 all units containing refrigerant must be delivered to the Madison County Landfill on Buyea Rd. (Co. Rte. 54) in the Town of Lincoln.

Why? New Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations are more stringent. Failure to comply with new requirements regarding the safe disposal of refrigerants could result in fines up to $25,000 per day per violation.

Remember, things like air conditioners, refrigerators and freezers, etc. can no longer be accepted at the Transfer Stations. They must be disposed of at the County Landfill on
Buyea Rd

Residential Permit Users = 5 punches
Day use or Commercial Permit Users = $12.25 per unit
