Absconder Cases
There are times when a person sentenced to probation flees from the sentencing
jurisdiction. When this occurs, it is usually with the filing of a Violation of
Probation and request of a warrant.
When this occurs, the probationer is classified as an absconder. The Probation
Department attempts to locate these absconders.
