Accounting

The Accounting unit is responsible for receiving and disbursing payments in accordance with local, state and federal policies. Its responsibilities include both administrative and program functions.

• Administrative functions include, but are not limited to, budget preparation, payroll, purchasing, voucher processing and 1099 documentation.
• Program functions include, but are not limited to, claims preparation and submission, Treasury Offset Program (TOP), lottery intercept and resources.

It is the unit’s goal to process and provide information to management in a timely manner, which will allow the department to run efficiently.
